Angela Ermine Lyles-Davis passed away on February 5, 2023, peacefully at home in Hampton, VA. God saw the road was getting rough and the hills were hard to climb. She gently closed her eyes and whispered "peace be thine."
Angela was born September 27, 1954, in Hampton, VA, to Gwendolyn Aleathia Lyles and the late Norman E. Lyles. She graduated from Hampton High School and went on to obtain her nursing degree over the years. She worked as an LPN at Hampton General Hospital and multiple other nursing facilities. She later retired from Eastern State Hospital. She was a mother, daughter, sister, friend, mentor, and confidant whose memory will be cherished by many.
Angela leaves behind her mother, Gwendolyn Lyles; brother, William E. Lyles (Karen Lyles); two sons, Phillip Davis, III, and Nicholas Davis; a daughter Tiffany Davis-Shaw (Cody Shaw); a bonus daughter, Christina Holloman; three grandchildren, Jeremiah Davis, Kaniyha Davis, and Codi Shaw. She also leaves a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, family, and friends.
