Barbara Lee Jones

On Monday, January 1, 2024, Barbara Lee Jones, age 76, peacefully returned to her heavenly home and entered into the presence of the Lord.
 

She was born in Hampton, VA to the late Alma V. Walton (Cook) and Joseph R. Walton.

She was known as Queen B. She attended Y.H. Thomas and completed her education in the Hampton School System. She also completed the VA School of Hair Design and became a cosmetologist and later became a Retail Manager.

Barbara loved the Lord and her family. She was a well known elegant Lady. Some of her favorite activities were dancing, playing Bingo and cards, thrifting, mastering crossword puzzles, and watching western movies. Her favorite phrase was "Love You More".

Her warm and loving memories will continue to be cherished by her sisters; Earline Woodland and Lena Burton, and beautiful legacy will continue to be lived through her daughters; Terri Thompson (Darrell), Angela Jones, and Charnita Carmona (Carlos), and grandsons; Quentin Prince and Julian Jones. She also has a host of many loving family and friends who will cherish her memories.
