Brenda Williams Obituary

Mrs. Brenda Elizabeth Wallace Williams was born February 21, 1944 to the late Mr. Macco Nelson and Elizabeth Robinson in Hampton, Virginia at Dixie Hospital, and at seventy-nine (79) years old her spirit was set free as she transitioned from this earthly life to her heavenly home on Friday, June 23, 2023 in the comfort of her home.

 

Brenda was educated in the Hampton Public School system where she met and wed George Wiliams (deceased) and through their union they were blessed with seven children, four boys and three girls.

Brenda accepted Jesus Christ as her Lord and Savior early in life. She worked as a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) for over twenty (20) years caring for those in need. She served as an Usher for several years at Holy Church of Deliverance in Newport News, VA. She also had several different hobbies that she enjoyed and found them fulfilling.

 

Brenda Williams was a member at Mount Zion Word and Faith Ministries for many years under the leadership of Pastor Kerry White.

 

Brenda was preceded in death by her parents, siblings, Annette Wallace and Tiny Wallace (twins), brothers Michael Wallace (deceased), flampton, VA., Jerrod Wallace, (deceased), Hampton, VA, and her husband George Williams.

 

She is survived by their three sons, David (Tracey) Williams, Chester, VA, Terry Williams, (Alicia) Hampton, VA and George Williams, Jr., Hampton, VA., four daughters, Min. Deborah Walton (ohn), Newport News, VA, Rhonda Weaver (Michael), Hampton, VA, Stephanie Williams, Newport News, VA., Sonya Williams, Hampton, VA., her sisters, Barbara Williams (Lester), Hampton, VA., Joyce Cooper (George), Newport News, VA., Patricia Robinson, Newport News, VA., Annette Robinson (Michael), Charleston, SC; brothers, Nathaniel Robinson, Hampton, VA, Bruce Nelson (Rebecca), Jacksonville, FL, Maceo Nelson (Vonda), Charleston, SC, and David Nelson (Angie), Charleston, SC; eleven (11) grandchildren and six (6) great-grandchildren as well as a host of nieces, nephews, relatives and numerous friends.
