Charlotte L. Parrott

On Friday, October 14, 2022, our precious Charlotte Parrott passed through the river into eternity with her Lord. 

She was born on May 6, 1947 to the late Matthew and Blanche Spencer in Barbourville, KY where she was educated through their public school system.  She was untied in wedlock to the late Dennis Parrott; to this union two children were born. 

At an early age she gave her life to the Lord and was gifted with writing music and directing children in song.  In approximately 1976 she and her family relocated to Virginia where she was a stay at home Mom.  The loves of her life were her children and grandchildren.  She also enjoyed doing crossword puzzles, drinking Dr. Pepper and wearing her boots and hats.  It brought such joy to her heart when she could make others laugh.

Charlotte was preceded in death by her parents and two brothers, Jerry Spencer and Matthew Spencer, Jr.

She is survived by her two children; Bianca Parrott Wallace (Aaron) and Danny Parrott (Kenya); eight siblings, Ron Spencer (Kathy), Julia White (Scotty), Frederick Spencer, Kathrena White, Nicholas Spencer (Linda), Sequoyah Oglesby, Mary Dixon and Rosella Givens; eight grandchildren, three great grandchildren (whom she adored) and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends..

She will be sorely missed by all who knew and loved her. Gone but never forgotten.
