Deborah Jeanne Washington born January 27, 1966 went home to glory on July 15th, 2023 where she was greeted by those who preceded her. her mother, Odethia L. R. Washington [1995] (52). Her nephew Brian e. carter [2003] (14). her father, Burl Washington [2015] (79). Deborah is survived by her maternal Grandmother, Lula Mae Austin, Her step-daughter Krystle Jefferson, 2 sisters; Beverly Washington (Kim) and Karen stith (Lynn) and 5 brothers; Larry Redell Washington (Cheral), Burl Washington Jr. (BB), Timothy Washington, Jonathan Washington, and Michael Washington, and a host of nieces, nephews, aunts, and cousins.
Deborah's Life
Dr. Deborah J. Washington, President of Standard Technology Inc., established in 2000 and CET Institute, Inc., established in 2014 both headquartered in Warner Robins, GA. Winning multiple awards over the years from clients, including a Certificate of Outstanding Performance, Contractor of the Year, and Small Business Subcontractor of the Year.
Hailing from Hampton, Virginia; Dr. Washington holds multiple degrees in information technology & engineering from the University of the District of Columbia, George Washington University and Howard University. She also holds a Ph.D. in Theological Studies from Truth Bible College & Seminary in Jacksonville, FL.
Dr. Washington, a United States Air Force veteran with 10 years of service as a Communications Officer stationed at the Pentagon/Bolling Air Force Base in Washington, DC, Maxwell Air Force Base in Montgomery, AL and Patrick Air Force Base in Melbourne, FL.
She valued the highest ethical and performance standards, believing strongly in giving back to the community through job creation, economic development and support of various charitable organizations.
Deborah lived for, loved and was passionate about her businesses but in her downtime she enjoyed traveling and seeing the world, family, having exciting culinary experiences and her newest endeavor and hobby lawnscaping.
Though she is gone in body, her legacy will continue to inspire and guide those whose lives she's touched.
