To know Devon was to love him, his infectious smile and energetic presence was memory making. Devon loved sports specifically football which he played very well, (Go cowboys!). His early years were filled with youth football, boy scouts and weekend skating with his closest friends. As an adult he was a member of the local labors union (373) where he worked in asbestos abatement. His love for family was unmatched. If you knew him, then you knew he didn’t play about his momma. He adored his grandparents. He and his brother David were inseparable (D2). He was immensely proud of his younger brother James Person. He was quick to break out in a song and announce his arrival with “Praise the Lord everybody.”
He is truly missed, but has left us with many memories. He shall remain in our hearts and minds. Never to be forgotten. Remember, to smile through your tears
