Doris Arrena Battle

Doris A. Battle, 85, departed this earthly life on October 24, 2022 in her home surrounded by family.
 She was born in Fountain, NC to the late Hubert Battle and Annie Jarvis on November 7, 1936. At an early age Doris and her family relocated to Newport News, VA.
 Doris is preceded in death by her parents, two sisters and one grandson, Damon Day.
 She leaves to cherish her memories, two daughters Carolyn Battle of Hampton, VA and Patricia Battle of Rialto California; three grandchildren Larry Battle of Las Vegas, NV., Tiffany Battle of Hampton, VA and Crystal Day of Rialto California; three siblings Hubert Battle Jr of Patterson, NJ, Clarence Jarvis of Chesapeake, VA and Jacqueline Raphael of Portsmouth, VA; Five great grandchildren and one great great granddaughter; extended family Chanda and Darlene Walker and a host of neices, nephews and other family and friends.
 Doris enjoyed cooking for her family and friends and working in the flower bed. She will truly be missed by all who knew and loved her.
