Dorothy P. Little affectionately known as “Dot,” received her counseling orders to eternal rest, on January 9, 2025. Dot was born on September 6, 1946, to George and Pearl Little in Bethel, NC. Dot was exceptionally devoted to her family life.
She was a valuable asset to her family. She led with confidence and assertiveness. Her culinary skills were phenomenal, and she knew it. She cherished spending time with her family and her relationship with her sisters was promising, loving, and entertaining. She was the family preference without a doubt.
Dot loved R&B music, dancing (she did a mean James Brown slop) playing Spades and a satisfying meal. She was baptized at an early age by Reverend Dr. J. Dett Marshburn of Zion Baptist Church in Phoebus, Va.
