Earline R. Hill was the eldest child born to the late Carnell Sr. and Frances Scott on February 16, 1951 in Suffolk, Virginia. She attended Georgia Tyler and graduated from L P Jackson High School in 1969.
Earline joined Chapel Grove in Windsor, Va. at an early age. She later joined Zion Baptist Church in Hampton, Virginia and was a faithful member.
She drove the Church bus and was very dedicated in picking up the members.
She also served as Missionary, Willing Workers and a former member on the Pastor’s Aide Team.
Earline worked for years for North Carolina Mutual Insurance Company as an Assistant Cashier, a seamstress at Norfolk Naval Base, and Bush Gardens. She made prom gowns, alterations on almost anything that was needed.
She loved fishing, bowling, traveling, and her favorite football team was the Pittsburg Steelers.
Earline was predeceased by her mother and father, brother, two sons, a daughter, and her spouse, Vange Hill.
Surviving family members are her children Kiesha and Rodney Reese, Karen Smallwood (Harrem), Panthiea Bradley ( Jack ), Sister Linda Baker (Stephen) and Uncle William White.
She had thirteen grandchildren, twenty-one great grandchildren, Mary Hamilton whom she felt very close to and called ‘Mom’. Friends Joyce Ponton, Janice Edmonds, and Patricia Gross.
