Eddie Edmundson II

Eddie Edmundson II was born on January 29, 1963, to the late Eddie Edmundson and Dolly Lee (Watts) Edmundson in Hampton, VA. On January 31, 2026, at the age of 63, Eddie peacefully transitioned from this life. As a young man, he played the clarinet in the Hampton High School marching band, graduating in 1981. Eddie continued his education at Indiana Tech in Fort Wayne, Indiana graduating with a degree in Mechanical Engineering. After graduation he made the decision to enlist in the United States Army proudly serving at Fort George G. Meade in Maryland. After his honorable discharge he returned to the Hampton, VA area. Eddie was employed with Solo Inc working as a Machine Operator for over 20 years. To his family and friends, he was known to enjoy good food, movies, and television shows, always ready to give suggestions. Eddie found joy in riding around the Hampton Roads area discovering or rediscovering places. He also enjoyed spending time with his sister. He was preceded in death by his parents, Eddie and Dolly. He leaves behind a beloved sister, Vinies, two nieces (Sonya and Zabrina), one nephew (Thearchie), and 3 great nephews (Cory, Christian, and Braylon) along with an aunt (Lola), and a host of cousins, and friends. Memorial Service Information: Morning Star Baptist Church, 2717 N. Armistead Avenue, Hampton, VA 23666 at 11am on Saturday, February 21, 2026.
