Enid Heather Hewlett

Enid Heather Hewlett, 68, of Hampton, Virginia, passed away on September 29, 2023. Enid was born on December 30, 1954, in Richmond, Virginia, to Simon and Helen Bower.

Enid was a fun and outgoing person who enjoyed spending time with her family and friends. She will be deeply missed by her daughter, Marquita Hewlett, her son, Broderick Hewlett Ir., and her grandson, Terrell Hewlett daughter-in-law Misty Black. Enid is also survived by her brother, Neil Bower, and his wife, Wilma Bower, her niece, Brandy Bower, and her nephew, Adrian Reid, as well as a host of cousins. She was preceded in death by her father, Simon Bower, and her mother, Helen Bower.

Enid attended Armstrong High School and later served in the US Army for about four years. After her military service, she started working for
Thalheimers as a waitress, along with various other odd jobs.

Enid enjoyed reading, listening to music, and doing puzzles in her spare time. She was a member of Cedar Street Baptist Church, where she worshipped.
