Gary Swarthout of Newport News passed away peacefully at his home on June 25, 2024. He was born in Michigan to Nellie and Arvin Swarthout.

Gary was deeply loved by his husband, Dwayne Jackson, family, and friends.

He enjoyed working at the post office after proudly serving in the US Navy.
