Henry Lynn Jr.

Henry Lynn, Jr named after his grandfather, was born in Smithfield, North Carolina and a resident of Hampton, Virginia. He peacefully entered into eternal rest on Wednesday, April 16, 2025 surrounded by his wife, Renee, sister, Sheila and brother, Ernest.  Henry was the fourth child of Ulee and Pearl Lynn, born on July 28, 1946.

The memories of Henry’s life will be cherished by all who knew and loved him. Henry was a proud veteran and faithfully served his country in the Vietnam War. He was preceded in death by his oldest son, Andre Lamont Lynn, his first wife, Benita (Jones) Lynn, his parents, Ulee and Pearl Lynn; his brothers James and Griffin Lynn and sisters, Betty Jean Rather and Evelyn Lynn,

Henry is survived by his wife, Sonji Renee (Gammon) Lynn, his stepchildren;  Theodore Gammon (Britney), Patrick Gammon and Whitney Rosari (Josh) his children; Celena Lynn and Brian Lynn, his brothers; Ernest Lynn (Gloria), Ulysses Lynn (Faye), William Lynn, James Willie, and Edwin Lynn (Christie), his sister, Shelia Lynn, his aunt, Ola V. Shears, and a host of grandchildren, step-grandchildren, cousins, nieces, and nephews.
