Joan Elizabeth Barron

On Sunday, October 26th, 2025, surrounded by family and friends, she entered eternal rest. Joan was born on May 4th, 1932, in New York to the late Harold Jackson Sr. and Francina Gray.

Joan was preceded in death by her  Mother and Father, Harold Jackson Sr.  and Francina Gray, her husband of 58 years, Herbert, sister Marlene (Newt), brother Harold Jr. (Agnes) and sons Ralph and Philip. She leaves to cherish her memories, her daughter Madeline, Grandchildren: Lisa, Ralph Jr., Maurice, Christine, Philip and Danielle; Grand Niece and Nephew Monique and Isaiah Easley and a host of Great Grandchildren along with surrogate nieces and nephews.

A Memorial Service and Repast will be held on Friday, December 12th, 2025 from 1pm-4pm at 5050 Beech Pl Temple Hills, Maryland 20748.

A Family Internment will be held on Saturday, December 13th 2025 @ 2:30pm at Hampton Memorial Gardens 155 Butler Farm Road Hampton VA 23666.
