MSGT. Gene A. Boyd Sr.

Gene Arthur Boyd Sr. served his country as active duty U.S Air Force for 26 years, followed by 18 years as a U.S Navy civilian employee. 

Gene loved playing and watching basketball, with the Buffalo Bills being his favorite football team. He was a competitive powerwalker, who won many medals in the senior Olympics.

Gene was proceeded in death by his parents, King S. Boyd Sr, and Annie S. Reed Boyd, sisters Jeanette Carter, Sue Boyd, and Malinda Boyd, brothers Andrew Boyd and King S. Boyd Jr, and son George Dyke. 
 

Gene is survived by his wife of 62 years Jacqueline Y. (Dyke) Boyd, daughter Janice Clark (Bruce), sons Gene A. Boyd Jr., Michael K. Boyd and Gary A Boyd.

Gene is also survived by his sister Estelle Miller (Buffalo NY), brothers Lorenzo Boyd (Poughkeepsie, NY), William Boyd (Doris) (Buffalo NY), John Boyd (Buffalo NY) and many beloved grandchildren, great-grandchildren, numerous nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.
