The Man:

He was an extraordinary man who had an enormous amount of love to give. Aside from his unbreakable love for Leora (Coot), who he loved to brag about at any chance he could get, he had a strong love for Fords, planes. Pepsi. Oreo's and his scanners (anytime he sat in his truck, the first thing he would do is turn it on) and let's not forget feeding the pets (Ace & Baxter) snacks all the time. You might find a scribble (or 15) spread out in random places within the house, because he had a very artistic touch. He devoted himself to taking care of his lamily and everyone around him, and he always made sure his four-lerged family members were spoiled with love. Most of the time. you could find him falling asleep in one of his comfy chairs around the house, or rearranging something his beloved wife Coot already organized. He loved to start a chat with anyone who was around, whether it be about his stories of traveling the world with Coot and Fran, or about Fran and RV's career accomplishments. He could tell you countless Vietnam stories, memories about his small town of Mount Olive, or share some stories about him and his buddies and how he met his bride. He was proud of the lessons and knowledge that he was able to pass on to his grandson RV , because it allowed them to continuously create multiple new projects around the house that they loved completing together.

He was preceded in death by his father, Kermit D. Brock; mother, Lillie Mae S. Brock and half-sister. Judy Sampson. Robert is survived by his loving bride of 63 years Coot, whom he cherished deeply, his daughter, Francine (Trent), his grandson's Robert (aka RV), Trent Jr.(aka LT) and his siblings, Juanita. Rosalind, Jimmy (Cheryl), and can't leave out Baxter. Sisters-in-law Joyce Ann, Doris, Ruby (aka Boo), Beverly (Abe) and Linda (Walt). He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews and all those whose lives he profoundly impacted.

He will be deeply missed by all who knew him, especially those closest to him. whose lives were forever impacted by his kindness, warmth, and unwavering love. To know Robert W. Brock, was to love him. There are countless ways to describe this great man, but three words that come to mind are:

He was loved.
