Patricia Jones Hasket

Patricia Jones Hasket was born on November 9, 1941, in Hampton, Virginia (Phoebus) and passed away peacefully on December 26, 2022, in Newport News, Virginia with family by her side. Patricia (Dixie) was educated in the Hampton City school system, where she went on to teach after graduating from Hampton Institute (University). Dixie moved to Alexandria, Virginia and later to Potomac, Maryland. She taught elementary school for over 20 years and retired from Charles Barrett Elementary School in Arlington, Virginia. She was presented Teacher of the Year award in 1996. Dixie was an avid sports fan , particulary football - loved her "Redskins" - professional tennis, and NASCAR.
