Paulette Denise Cousins

Paulette, an Army and Navy veteran, received her wings on Monday, March 25, 2024 at the age of 63. She is the daughter of Verdelle R. German and the late Marion B. German, Mount Pleasant, South Carolina. She leaves to cherish her memories, two (2) sons, Christopher Stephen Cousins and Jordan Marcel Almond; four (4) grandchildren: Brandon Travion (Trey) Frink, Christiana Ja’Sarah Cousins, Monica Marie Almond, Qudir Bakari Cousins; her Ma, Verdelle R. German; four (4) sisters: Anita G. Jefferson (Michael), Mariette G. Wineglass (Ricky), Donna G. Coakley (Curtis) and Velma L. Goodwin (Kenneth); and a host of cousins, nieces and nephews.

She is preceded in death by her daddy, Marion B. German and husband, James Cousins.

All relatives and friends are invited to attend her funeral on Thursday, April 4, 2024 at 11:00 a.m. at Antioch Baptist Church, 1563 Old Buckroe Road, Hampton, Virginia. Interment will be on Friday, April 5, 2024 at 10:00 a.m. at Albert G. Horton, Jr. Veterans Cemetery in Suffolk, Virginia. Viewing will be on Wednesday, April 3, 2024 from 2-7 p.m. at Smith Brothers Funeral Home LLC, 545 E. Mercury Blvd., Hampton, Virginia.
