Richard Lee Bandy

Richard Lee Bandy born on Oct 19,1953 Hampton, VA (Phoebus). Preceded in death by parents Margaret & Roland Bandy and siblings William, Roland, David, Edna Bandy and Shirley Paey. Left to cherish his memories are his children Richard Bandy Jr., Linwood Bandy, Ciara Jones his two sisters Nilla Willams and Margaret Stokes, brothers Michael Bandy and James Bandy also grandchildren and great grandchildren. Richard is also survived by long term significant other Sharron Jones.

He departed his journey on Saturday October 11,2025. On his beautiful journey of life Richard took many paths! He received his formal education at Hampton Public Schools where he received an scholarship to college for football. He was an athlete, Army Vet, boatsman, painter, landscaper and long-term Casey Auto employee.

The family appreciate all the thoughts, prayers, kindness and acts of assistance during this difficult time. He will be missed by all who knew and loved him.
