Samuel Lee Charity Sr.

Samuel Lee Charity Sr., 78, transitioned from this life on Tuesday, June 27, 2023. He was born to Sanford Sr. and Rosa Lee Charity on August 1, 1944. A native of Hampton, Virginia, he joined the United States Army in 1965 traveling around the world. He earned many accomplishments such as, Bronze Star, Vietnam Service Medal, and NCO Professional Development Ribbon to name a few.

 Samuel was preceded in death by his mother and father, Sanford and Rosa, his sister Rosa Lee Corbin (Charles) and brothers Sanford Charity Jr., William Charity (Pat) and James Charity (Pat), Ernest Charity (Joyce), and niece Trena Charity Savage (Brian).

 He leaves behind his children Sandra Charity Kemp (LaRohn), Jacquelyn Charity-Hodnett, Samuel Lee Charity Jr., (Kenya), Veronica Charity Barnes (John); ex-wife Jacquelyn Keene Charity Stroble (Paul), 9 grandchildren, and 10 great grandchildren. Siblings Mary Stephenson (Daniel), Julia Riddick, and Waverly Charity (Nikey) along with a host of nieces and nephews.
