Susan Patricia Johnson

Susan Patricia Johnson, 92, passed away on April 21. 2022 in York Convalescent and Rehabilitation Center in Yorktown, VA.

Susan was born in Muncie, IN on March 16, 1930 to Larries N. Ladd and Erma M. (Longerbone) Ladd. Her parents preceded her in death.

Susan married Robert "Bob" L. Johnson Sr. on December 24, 1953 at Pleasant Grove United Methodist Church. Bob passed away on May 17, 2014.

She and Bob had moved to Virginia Beach in 2007 to be closer to their daughter, Jama.

Susan was a member of Pleasant Grove United Methodist Church.

She will be sadly missed by her son, Robert L. (wife, Nida) Johnson Jr. of Alongaeone,Philippine Island; son-in-law, David Graveline of Henderson, NV; grandchildren, Kyson (Jennifer) Moore, Jared Moore, Joseph Johnson, Maria Johnson and Michael Johnson; 3 step- grandchildren, 16 great-grandchildren; brothers, Taylor (wife, Joan) Ladd of Hartford City and Donald (wife, June) Ladd of Hartford City; several nieces and nephews.

She is also preceded in death by her daughter, Jama Graveline and granddaughter, Patricia Carey.

Funeral service will be at 2 p.m. Friday, April 29, 2022 at Keplinger Funeral Home, 509 N. High St., Hartford City with her nephew, Rev. Todd Ladd officiating. Burial will follow at Gardens of Memory in Muncie. Visitation will be from 12 to 2 p.m. Friday, April 29, 2022 at Keplinger Funeral Home.
