Tina Francine Glover

Tina Francine Glover, 55, passed away suddenly on April 3, 2024. She was the daughter of Eliza Miles Glover, born May 21, 1964, the fifth of five children. Tina was raised in Hampton, VA and attended Hampton City Schools. She graduated from Phoebus High School in 1986 and afterward enrolled at Norfolk State University.

Tina's beautiful daughter, Tia Simone Glover, was born in January 1993. Tia was her pride and joy and the apple of her eye. Tina enjoyed spending time with her family and friends and had a wonderful sense of humor. She loved calling her mother every morning for their daily chat and her "morning laugh". Tina loved cooking and crocheting and was well known for the beautiful hats she created.

Tina enrolled in Hampton University's College of Continuing Education in 1994 where she earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Systems Organization and Management. Shortly thereafter, Tina relocated to Johnson City, TN where she worked for Citi Bank for many years.

Tina was preceded in death by her sister, Janice Faye Glover and her brother, Willie Thomas Glover, Jr four days prior to her passing, She leaves to cherish precious memories her daughter, Tia Simone Glover, Baltimore, MD; her beloved mother, Eliza Miles Glover, Hampton, VA; sisters, Cynthia Glover Duncan and Wanda L. Glover, Hampton, VA; Ronald L. Glover and Jeffrey Glover, Newport News, VA; niece Carissa L. Duncan, Hampton, VA; nephew Jonathan K.W. Glover, Ashtabula, OH; great-niece Cayla L. Duncan, Hampton, VA; uncle James Miles, Sr (Pauline), Hampton, VA,; aunt Miriam Miles, Hampton, VA and a host of extended family and friends.
