Waverly Thomas Llewllyn McWhite

Waverly Thomas Llewellyn McWhite died May 11, 2022 at his residence. He was born June 16, 1941, in Hampton and belonged to First Baptist Church, N. King St., Hampton.
 
He attended George P. Phenix High School, Hampton and graduated from Portsmouth Sr. High School, Portsmouth New Hampshire. he graduated from Hampton Institute, Hampton VA and attended the Medical College of Virginia in Richmond VA.
 
He served as a First Lieutentant with the Corps of Engineers in the United States Army. He was formerly employed as a Cost Engineer with Dravo Corp., Pennsylvania; Bechtel Corp., Maryland; and Hercules Corp., Delaware.
 

He was predeceased by his parents, Vernil Brown McWhite and James L. McWhite 
 

He is survived by his sister Brenda Lively Cooper; cousin Wilbert "TONTO" Roberts and Susie Roberts Hunter and brother-in-law Roger Hunter.
