William Evans Brown, 89, passed away peacefully at his home on Tuesday, April 7, 2026. He was born to the late Mr. William Walker and Dorothy Brown.
He was a dedicated husband, father, grandfather, brother & uncle. He loved spending time with family especially during the holidays. He just enjoyed life.
Over the years he worked hard as a construction worker. He had such a passion for concrete finishing until he decided to partner with a fellow construction friend and started his own business named Brown and Randolph Construction.
There was never a dull moment when he was around. What you see or hear from him is what you got! He always spoke his mind. He also enjoyed fishing, hunting, and loved bowling so much that he joined 2 bowling leagues. He bowled until he couldn’t do it anymore in is older age.
He will truly be missed.
He was preceded in death by his father, William Walker and Mother Dorothy Brown, 8 sisters, and 3 brothers.
He is survived by his wife of 55 years Gloria P. Brown, his children, Stacey Hicks, Reginald Hicks (Brenda), Stacy Gibbons, & Sabrina Roberts (Bobby); grandchildren
Daryl Roberts, Miea Hicks, and Aaliyah Gibbons
and a host of other relatives & friends.
